John Mannion graduated with an honours BDS in 1975. He then moved to the UK where he worked in several NHS and private practices, gaining experience in all aspects of dentistry and training in conscious sedation, before returning to Ireland in 1980 where he set up Nostra Dental Clinic with his wife Maureen.
He has continued to study and gain experience in all aspects of dentistry and has become a well-known and respected member of the dental community. John completed his implant training in the Branemark Clinic in 1991. He completed his training in orthodontics in 1994 and received his fellowship from the American association for functional orthodontics in 1996. He began his training in TMJ dysfunction in 1992, travelling between the USA and UK. He is currently a member of the British academy of craniofacial pain and of the American academy of craniofacial pain. John has a keen interest in Implant dentistry and TMJ dysfunction.
